Valuation Coverage Options

Take-Away Movers offers the following valuation coverage options to protect your belongings during your move.

Released Value Protection (Basic)

Included at no additional cost. Coverage is limited to $0.60 per pound per article.

Example: A 50-pound item damaged during the move would be covered up to $30.00 (50 lbs x $0.60).

MoveSpace Coverage

Available for an additional charge. Under this option, Take-Away Movers is liable for the replacement value of lost or damaged goods, or the cost of repair.

Minimum coverage: $6.00 per pound times the weight of the shipment. Deductible options may be available to reduce the premium.

Important Notice

Take-Away Movers will discuss these options with you before your move and include your selection on the Bill of Lading. This is not insurance — it is the mover's liability for loss or damage.
